The Pennsville Clean Communities Program is a statewide litter-abatement program created by the passage of the Clean Communities Act. The program is managed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Treasury, and Clean Communities Council.   
Civic groups, volunteer organizations, churches, and scout troops are encouraged to participate.  In order to be eligible for a Clean Communities Program Cleanup Grant Award the group must affirm that it is a non-profit group located within the Township of Pennsville.  Each group must utilize no less than ten (10) persons to actively participate in the Road Cleanup.For more information please contact the Clerk’s Office.
