PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Pennsville, County of Salem, submitted its Mid-Point Review Report to the Superior Court with a notice of and a copy of the Report provided to Fair Share Housing Center (“FSHC”) and notice of the submission provided to the interested parties in the Pennsville Township DJ Action at Docket No. SLM-L-119-15.

The requirement for a midpoint realistic opportunity review derives from the Fair Housing Act at N.J.S.A. 52:27D-313 and the purpose and process is set forth in Pennsville Township’s Court-approved Settlement Agreement with FSHC. The purpose of the midpoint realistic opportunity review is for Pennsville Township to provide a status report as to the Township’s implementation of its Plan and an analysis of whether any unbuilt sites continue to present a realistic opportunity.

To facilitate this review process, Pennsville Township has placed on file with the Pennsville Township Clerk a copy of the Mid-Point Review Report and has also posted it on the Township website: www.pennsville.org.  This Report will be available for public inspection on July 1, 2020 at the office of the Pennsville Township Clerk, 90 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, or by appointment if the municipal building is still closed due to the pandemic or it will be mailed upon request.

Any interested party may submit comments to Pennsville Township, with a copy to FSHC, regarding whether any sites no longer present a realistic opportunity and should be replaced. Comments shall be submitted in writing no later than July 31, 2020. Any interested party may by motion request a hearing before the Court regarding these issues.  Such motion shall be submitted to the Court no later than July 31, 2020.  In the event the Court determines that a site no longer presents a realistic opportunity and should be replaced, then Pennsville Township shall have the opportunity to supplement or revise its plan to correct any deficiency.

Such comments must be filed in writing, on or before July 31, 2020 with Walter J. Ray, Pennsville Township Solicitor, 254 S. Broadway, PO Box 406, Pennsville, New Jersey, 08070, with copies of all papers being forwarded by mail or e-mail to:
