DEPUTY MUNICIPAL CLERK (FULL-TIME) – TOWNSHIP OF PENNSVILLE, SALEM COUNTY
The Township of Pennsville is seeking a full-time Deputy Municipal Clerk or Deputy Municipal Clerk Trainee. Must be willing to attend classes towards State of New Jersey RMC Certification. Individuals already licensed as RMC are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include functions of the Municipal Clerk’s office, including preparation of meeting minutes, assisting with elections, completing open public records requests, licensing, filing, interacting with the public and numerous other duties. Position requires computer skills in Word and Excel, excellent customer service and work ethic, ability to multi-task and work independently, written and oral communication skills and strict confidentiality. Hours Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Must be available to work extended hours during June and November Elections and two evening meetings per month.
