The Pennsville Police Department and New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs have agreed to participate in Project Medicine Drop by maintaining a prescription drug drop box within the Pennsville Police Department. This drop box will enable the residents of Pennsville to safely dispose of unused medications at any time throughout the year. This drop box is under video surveillance and no questions will be asked. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT LIQUIDS OR SYRINGES! The purpose for this is to prevent unused medications from falling into the hands of those who might abuse them, and it keeps them from being flushed into the water supply.
